Intelligent Controller Hub D400 is a secure communications environment specially designed for electric substations. Collect information on events, alarms, measurements and failures from Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs), such as protection relays, controllers, transformers, measurement systems, etc.. Report this information to one or multiple SCADA / EMS through various communication protocols available.
The D400 incorporates a Human Machine Interface (HMI) Local and alarm annunciator as part of their basic software. In addition, this interface can be accessed remotely through a standard Web browser. All configuration of the D400 is done online through the browser.
The D400 is based on advanced x86 processor 1GHz. No moving parts or hard disk, or fans. Storing programs and data are achieved by devices solid state memory.
Importantly, the operating system running on the D400 is LINUX. In addition to the operating system, incorporates other open source applications such as database manager and gardens (MySQL), Web Pages Server (Apache) and all the security subsystem and data encryption (OpenSSL), among other applications.
Supports a wide variety of communication channels through O modules selectable by the user. Such modules are:
- Serial Module (2 port) RS232, RS485, Fiber Optics.
- Ethernet LAN 10/100 BaseT, 10BaseFL or 100BaseSX.
- Input Module IRIG-B synchronization.
- Output Module synchronization distribution IRIG-B.
